To find the Alchemist you first need to use your Aetherheart Teleportation scroll, the item you acquire once you choose your first job, using the scroll you will be teleported for Aetherheart. There you can go West, enter the portal, and there you will find the Alchemist NPC's.
There is 3 Alchemist NPC's, they look alike but have 3 different functions
Healing Potion Brewing - for healing potions like Red Potion
Defensive Potion Brewing - for elemental resistance like Cold Proof Potion
Offensive Potion Brewing - for apm and damage potions like Concentration Potion

The process of brewing potions is simple, just get the materials and bring them for the NPC's, choose the amount you want to craft each time (max is 10) and wait few seconds. Crafting any kind of potions grants EXP to level up your Alchemy level. Each level increase your % chance to succeful create a Potion.
Most potions use 2 to 3 materials, and always use a Empty Bottle. Its recomended to start with Red Potions, as they are easy to create, only Red Herb x1 and Empty Bottle x1. And is heighly recomended to carry potions with you. Potions on Edda are also changed, they grants stronger healing but with a cooldown time to be used again, so its better to manage your potions and don't think in spamming the F1 buttom.
